Breath Workshop w/ Deagan Maki & Alex Schwartz

This three part active breath helps us move energy and emotions through the body, resets the nervous system, and is a powerful way to strengthen the immune system. This practice is set to music and builds from a gentle grounding exercise, through a cue to release a sigh, scream, laugh, cry, wiggle, etc, and then ends in a restorative savasana. This practice can induce very beneficial physical, emotional, and even spiritual experiences.

Yoga For Graceful Aging - 6 Week Series - Advance Registration Required $85 Purchase required to enroll

This series offers a gentle practice - introducing beginners to breath awareness and foundational postures, and inviting those with prior experience to slow down and deepen their practice. It draws on postures and sequencing found by the Harvard Medical School to be beneficial for those with osteoporosis. Students focus on specific areas of the body, and indirectly specific elements, progressively throughout the six weeks. Emphasis is placed on breath awareness and coordination with gentle postural movements.

You are invited to join Mackee (Hoffman Healing Arts) and Pam (StudiOM) in a meditative practice involving the use of resonant music.
This session will offer you a brief guided relaxation as the music (both vocal and instrumental) creates an immersive sound experience that begins to fill the room and the body. Sound baths aim to help people relax and let go of stress, anxiety, worries and concerns.
